Anna’s Pals
Monthly Chinese
Food Delivery
First Wednesday of Every Month
Boston Children's Hospital - Blood Cancer & Disorder Floor
Bringing Comfort Through Community
On the first Wednesday of every month, Anna's Pals delivers Chinese food to the Blood Cancer and Disorder Floor at Boston Children's Hospital. This monthly tradition brings a taste of normalcy and comfort to families navigating the challenges of pediatric cancer treatment.
These meals are generously provided by Medway Lotus, whose ongoing partnership makes this program possible. For families spending countless hours, days, and weeks at the hospital, a warm meal from the community reminds them they are not alone in their journey.
Why This Matters
Hospital stays are exhausting for families. Long treatment days, medical appointments, and the emotional toll of seeing a child battle cancer leave little time or energy for basic needs like meals. Our monthly food delivery provides:
A moment of relief from the stress of hospital life
Connection to the community through a thoughtful gesture
Practical support so families can focus on their child's care
A reminder of Anna's spirit of generosity and kindness
In Honor of Anna
Anna Jerome spent five continuous months at Boston Children's Hospital during her treatment. Her room became known as the "Party Room" because of the constant stream of visitors—her "Pals"—who brought laughter, support, and normalcy during the hardest days.
This monthly food delivery honors Anna's memory by extending that same warmth and community support to families currently walking the path she once walked.
